Glencoe Wedding Photography – Jenny & Raymond

Glencoe Wedding Photography - Jenny & Raymond

Jenny & Raymond were officially putting pen to paper at The Bothy, and I was there capturing all the fun, but that’s just one chapter one of their love story, with a big Hong Kong wedding still to come. 🎉

Before the official wedding and then jetting off to Hong Kong, they had their hearts set on a Glencoe shoot. The weather? Absolute perfection. The midgies? Also thriving. 😂

Standing still for more than 5 seconds pretty much turned into us into an all-you-can-eat buffet! (there are some outtakes from that experience at the end!) Regardless, this is my absolute favourite type of shoot, and despite the midgies, I was in heaven! 🥰📷

We moved between different locations to dodge the wee beasties – even a hardened Scotswoman like me struggled to fight them off! From the famous wee white hut to the cinematic Glen Etive (yes, Skyfall fans, that road), these two laughed, ran, swatted, and cuddled their way through one of Scotland’s most dramatic landscapes.

The photos are proof: midgies can’t stop love (or good lighting). ✨

Haberdashery Wedding Glasgow – Kris & Andrea

Haberdashery Wedding - Kris & Andrea

Kris & Andrea were High School sweethearts who first met at just 16, but were far too busy travelling the world and living life to rush into tying the knot.

After years of adventures together, they finally decided it was time – and what a beautiful day it was!

This couple were so laid back, and it’s always music to my ears when things are done a little differently! We did their first look in the park, and their bridal portraits before the ceremony, which gave them space to just be together before the celebrations began.

The intimate ceremony at The Haberdashery was the perfect reflection of them – laid back, stylish, and full of joy.

It was genuinely such a privilege to capture their love story – these two were an absolute joy to work with! 🥂✨

Glencoe Engagement Session – Courtney & Drew

Glencoe Engagement - Courtney & Drew

Courtney & Drew hopped on a plane from Detroit, swapped city life for mountain air, and chose the wild beauty of Glencoe for their engagement shoot.

Dream. Come. True.

We chose the foot of the glorious Buachaille Etive Mòr – the iconic Highland backdrop (off of Bonds Skyfall!) because….well you can see why!

Scotland decided to show off with blazing sunshine, endless blue skies, and views that looked straight out of a movie (think more Sound of Music thank Skyfall!). These two laughed, adventured, and soaked it all in – and now they’ve got photographs that don’t just capture their love, but their once-in-a-lifetime Scottish escape.

If you’ve ever dreamed of photos that feel epic, timeless, and so you – whether that’s an engagement, elopement, or just because – you don’t need to wait. Scotland’s calling (and it’s incredible in ANY season!)… and I’d love to show you the magic! 🏔️💫

Montrose St Wedding – Jamielee & Ryan

Montrose St Wedding Glasgow - Jamielee& Ryan

Micro Weddings are gaining in popularity, and I’ve lost count of how many I’ve done at Montrose Street!

It’s the perfect place for small & intimate weddings, and the locations is perfect for photos! ( I even saw Spider-man – see the last photo!)

It was the turn of Jamielee & Ryan to tie the knot, and their little boy made it even more special! He wasn’t a huge fan of the whole wedding experience or the kilt in that heat, but he made it a wedding to remember 🥰

And we can take a moment to appreciate just how 1920’s-movie-star the stunning Jamielee was! 😍

No matter the size of your wedding, you deserve beautiful photos to preserve those all important memories.

Scottish Vow Renewal – Tyler & Emily

Scottish Vow Renewal - Tyler & Emily

Emily and Tyler are young farmers from Michigan, raising two little boys while running the family farm.

After five whirlwind years of marriage – a new farm, a second baby, and more than their fair share of challenges – they chose to renew their vows somewhere truly magical: the hauntingly beautiful Dunan’s Castle in Argyll & Bute.

The castle, partially derelict after a fire in 2003, is being lovingly restored by new owners – but it made for one of the most unforgettable backdrops I’ve ever shot.

It rained. The midgies were feral. I was soaked from my feet to the thighs 😆 And I couldn’t have cared less.

Shoots like this set my soul on fire. 🔥

Montrose St Wedding Glasgow – Gillian & Reece

Montrose St Wedding Glasgow - Gillian & Reece

A Montrose Street wedding where the sun shone all day and every moment felt so full of love.

Proof that a small wedding can be every bit as special, meaningful, and worth capturing as the biggest celebration.

And these two were just the most beautiful bride & Groom, and totally up for a hike up the hill to one of my favourite spots!

I’m so thrilled they adore their photographs as much as I do. Just because your wedding is small doesn’t mean it isn’t worth remembering beautifully. 💛

Cornhill Castle Wedding – Sophie & Jake

Cornhill Castle Wedding - Sophie & Jake

Some weddings just have that magic, and Sophie & Jake’s Cornhill Castle wedding was one of them!

Sophie, originally from Scotland, and Jake, a born-and-bred Texan, lived just minutes apart for years but didn’t meet until her final year of college. Like many 2020 love stories, The C Words (Covid + chaos!) delayed things a bit – but once restrictions lifted, their virtual friendship blossomed into something beautiful.

On a trip to Scotland, Jake proposed in Edinburgh, at the very chapel where Sophie’s parents had married 29 years earlier – I mean, come on… does it get any cuter?!

Their wedding at Cornhill Castle was pure joy – a perfect blend of Scottish charm and Texan spirit (yes, there were Kilted Cowboys!). Sophie and Jake were an absolute dream to photograph – relaxed, fun, and totally up for my ideas – and their families made me feel so welcome.

Cottiers Wedding Glasgow – Maddie & Tom

Cottier's Wedding Glasgow - Maddie & Tom

They fell in love (eventually, by all accounts!) when Maddie moved into Tom’s flat in Manchester, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Fast forward to a glorious sunny day in Glasgow’s West End, and these two said “I do” in the magnificent Cottiers. What. A. Venue. Between the soaring ceilings, the fairy-lit stone walls, the stained glass, and the way the light pours in on a bright day, it honestly feels like a little pocket of magic tucked away in the city. Add in Maddie & Tom’s crew of ten(!) bright and beautiful bridesmaids, their wonderful families and friends, and the whole place was just buzzing with love and laughter.

Their ceremony was led by the outstanding Alexis The Celebrant, who made it one of the loveliest, most personal ceremonies I’ve had the joy to witness. The perfect mix of heartfelt, funny, and just so them.

Maddie & Tom – congratulations to you both. I’m beyond thrilled your photos made you cry (in the best way!) and I loved every second of capturing your day in such a stunning space

West End Wedding – Lisa & Sam

West End Wedding - Sam & Lisa

Sam & Lisa have been together forever – 3 gorgeous girls already, with a 4th on the way – and now their love story has started a brand new chapter.

What was meant to be a tiny wedding with just them and the girls grew arms and legs and turned into the loveliest family celebration! They were married at Airdrie Registry Office on a sunny April day, then carried the party on at Òran Mór’s, Fonn Mór in Glasgow’s West End.

Since we were just across the road, we nipped into the Botanic Gardens for some photos. The girls had the best time running about in the park while we grabbed a few quiet moments with Sam & Lisa and their bridal party. And then, of course, Kibble Palace – that dreamy greenhouse light, the soft greenery, and those tones that make everyone look like they’ve stepped straight out of a magazine. Honestly, it was the perfect little escape before heading back to the buzz of the day.

These two are just beautiful inside and out, and I loved every second of photographing them and their wee gang.

Glasgow City Centre Family Vacation Photoshoot

Glasgow City Centre Family Vacation Photoshoot

This lovely family from Oregon USA wanted to capture their Scottish vacation with a relaxed photo session during their visit to Glasgow. We spent the afternoon exploring the city centre, wandering through its charming streets and stopping off at some of my favourite hidden gems—those special little spots I’ve come to know so well over the years.

They wanted a variety of backgrounds, and Glasgow delivered—beautiful old buildings, colourful backdrops, and tucked-away corners full of character. It only rained a little (as it does!), but we embraced it and kept moving, and the soft light that followed was just perfect.

Such a fun session with a warm, happy family making the most of their time in Scotland. A lovely way to remember their trip!
