Donna & Graeme's Glasgow Wedding Party

I was so thrilled this finally happened! After venue changes and the C word, Donna & Graeme finally eloped to Gretna Green and had a party in Glasgow with their close family and friends!

Oh, and it only took them 31 years to finally tie the knot!!

After a few photos at Native Glasgow, we spent some time in George Square (where they met for their first date when they were just teenagers!) and roped in some lovely strangers dressed up for an Alice in Wonderland Event, then onto The Dhabba where they enjoyed some delicious food with close friends and family.

They finished the night at BrewDog Merchant City with beer, friends and more beer!

Congratulations to you both, I’m so honoured to have captured these memories for you!

Anh & Hugh's Intimate Glasgow Wedding

Anh & Hugh both live in Germany, but Hugh is originally from Scotland so they chose to get married over here.

They had a beautiful intimate ceremony in Glasgow City Chambers then we drove up to The Cloisters at Glasgow University and Kelvingrove Park, where Anh was hoping to get a photo with a squirrel!

As you can see….we made that happen!

Orla & John's Intimate Scottish Wedding

When a wedding is this intimate it’s really very special

Orla & John, together with just their Maid of Honour Hollie, and Best Man Gregg, did a small wedding as a small wedding should be done, relaxed, personal and in style!

The Roman Camp Hotel is absolutely stunning, with Orla and John taking their vows in the tiny chapel! I’ve never had to limbo under a camera tripod to get in to photograph the ceremony!

The lighting was tricky as there was also a videographer in there so I couldn’t use artificial light, but we made it work!

We got a peacock display, beautiful weather, and full use of the gorgeous grounds for a some couple shots!

Emily wanted to capture their beautiful little family to mark the 1st birthday of Matthew, and what a wise decision that was!

I traveled to a beautiful little area that they spend a lot of time at walking the dog and having family picnics! And brucey bonus, they brought the dog!!

We spent a lovely couple of hours wandering, playing and just enjoying the beautiful location.

Shoots like these are so important, time moves way too fast!

What a love story this one is!

Helmi & Clark met on an organised dog walk, where Helmi took Tess along, and Clark took Hugo. It was love at first sniff for the dogs! Helmi and Clark became Facebook friends, and although Helmi normally culls FB friends who don’t post very often, she stuck with Clark…and the rest is history!

Sorn Castle is a glorious full use venue, so the day began dotting about between rooms to capture both bride and groom getting ready, and detail shots in some of the most beautiful rooms in the Castle.

The ceremony took place at the bottom of the grand staircase, with Hugo & Tess being ring bearers!!

The grounds are beautiful and made for some lovely couple shots, and obviously, we used the front of the castle for some ‘Reservoire Dog” shots.

A brilliant day from start to finish, it was a joy to capture this beautiful Scottish Wedding.

The Glasgow Freight Club 50th Dinner Dance

I was asked to capture the event photography for The Glasgow Freight Club 50th Annual Dinner Dance in the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow. It was a lavish and beautiful event with 250 invited guests, the ballroom was packed!

With a 3 course meal, string quartet, incredible raffle, and amazing entertainment, all topped off with a surprise drag queen, there were plenty of opportunities to capture the fun!

Trudie & Eddie have been together for a very long time, and the time had finally come to make it official!

I met them at Glasgow City Chambers with their son and daughter, and their partners, for a tiny, but beautiful ceremony.

Eddie was desperate to go to the pub and decompress, but I persuaded them to pop round the corner for some couple shots, and made them stop several times on the way to the pub!

These weddings are so relaxed and intimate, I just love them!

UNDO – Corporate Day

UNDO Team Day Corporate Photography

The team from UNDO were having a team day at Dumyat in Stirling, the MRV trial site, which is the first of its kind in the UK and the first attempt to draw live data from the soils. They wanted corporate photography to capture the day, plus more headshots for team members who missed the previous team day.

UNDO started developing carbon removal technology two years ago as part of the Future Forest Company, but soon branched out so they could make a greater impact. Simply put, they speed up natural carbon removal so that our planet is fit for future generations.

Laura and Michael had a very small wedding on the Friday at Edinburgh City Chambers followed by an intimate meal at The Bonham Hotel. The party then took place on the Saturday at The Hilton Edinburgh Carlton where the fun really started!

This lovely couple didn’t want too many posed shots, they wanted to capture the day as candidly as possible, but who could resist throwing them into the middle of the Royal Mile for a kiss shot when it was a good old Edinburgh wedding!? Not I m’lord! #trafficschmaffic

Fiona & Steve's Edinburgh Zoo Wedding

Fiona booked me after seeing the gallery of another Edinburgh Zoo wedding I photographed, and I jumped at the chance!

Fiona & Steve both live in England and were looking for a venue north of the border that was a little different, and they found it here!

The ceremony and reception are held in the stunning Mansion House which is situated in the heart of the zoo. The ceremony room is absolutely glorious and overlooks the Pentland Hills, it’s the most beautiful place to say your vows!

All the guests have access to the zoo, and we were lucky enough to visit the penguins after the zoo closed! I absolutely loved spending the day capturing this very sepcial day, and once again, the staff were absolutely brilliant!
