Morgan & Willow

Morgan & Willow

I met Linda, her daughter Morgan & dog Willow, and their family friend Elaine in Roukenglen Park on a stunning March day, and spent a couple of hours exploring all the beautiful spots. This shoot was about Morgan and Willow, but we managed to persuade the grown-ups to join in on a few too!

Photoshoots with me don’t just preserve memories, they make them! After this amazing shoot on Friday where we went slightly off-road, Elaine said; “Honestly, shoes are shoes, always replaceable, today was a great memory” ❤
When you have amazing people (and doggos) in your life, get in front of the camera with them, have 2 hours of fun around the park and walk away with a happy heart and a gallery full of tangible memories that won’t ever fade!

Jude is a Glasgow Based jewellery designer and all-round good egg! We love her and her work!

We did a branding shoot the other day so Jude now has a bank of images to play with, and people can see the woman behind the jewellery.

We got a variety of images, including headshots, the jewellery making process and natural shots of Jude just chilling!

The Kapitan Family

The Kapitan Family

I love it when family comes together ?

These beautiful little people are 18 months old and had never met due to covid! One family locked down in Australia, the other in Scotland….until now!

To celebrate, the family booked a photoshoot to capture the 2 families, and the grandparents of course, finally together again after 2 years ?
And oh how they knocked the styling out the park!

The Glasgow Freight Club 48th/49th Dinner Dance

The Glasgow Freight Club 48th/49th Dinner Dance

I was asked to capture the event photography for the Freight Club’s joint 48th/49th Annual Dinner Dance. Covid meant the 48th dinner dance wasn’t able to go ahead, so they made sure the 49th was a grand affair!

With the 50th Dinner Dance looming, they wanted a variety of images that they could loop in a presentation to show the work that goes into such events, alongside photographs from previous years.

Claire contacted me to capture some photos of all the cousins as a gift for Granny’s Christmas. We had to reschedule a couple of times due to weather and illness, but we finally got full health and a beautiful autumnal day!

The little one wasn’t a big fan of me or my camera, which often happens with 2-year-olds, but she came round to me eventually! It’s amazing how the camera can capture that split second when it looks like they like you!

Anita

Anita

I was so happy to be asked to do a session with the beautiful Anita to celebrate her Nepalese heritage in this gorgeous Bakhu dress.
Initially, we wanted to do this shoot with a mountainous backdrop, but I’m so happy we chose this location on a sunny autumn day. It’s just a magical place for photos!
It was so nice to have one person to concentrate on, and she was so well behaved!

Tasha was originally booked for an Autumn Mini session, but once again the C word struck and she decided to just upgrade to a full session.

I met the family at Balloch Castle Country Park on the banks of Loch Lomond on a dry autumn day.

The boys and I hit it off straight away, which is always the sign that it will be a great session, and it really was! We wandered through the park finding amazing little spots, and were even blessed with a beautiful golden hour.

Tasha has ordered a 30 x 20″ frame with one of her favourite photos, which I can’t wait to see on her wall!

Epicore Studio Launch

Epicore Studio Launch

Erika, a fellow photographer, contacted me to document the opening of her brand new studio in East Kilbride. She knew that if she did it herself, she’d miss most of the fun, so brought me in for a couple of hours!

She wanted candid shots of all the guests, plus the setup and some posed shots of her with the guests.

The studio has some great outdoor space, so we utilised that (and the dry weather!) to get the group shots out there.

Autumn Mini Sessions 2021

Autumn Mini Sessions 2021

Another year of Autumn Mini Sessions done and dusted! Unfortunately, we had a few who couldn’t make it for various circumstances, but we’ll be luckier next year hopefully!

The rain arrived on Sunday, but our location meant we could at least find some shelter under the trees so no one was soaked.

All of my families were brilliant, we had several old faces and plenty new ones as well!

McArthur Family

The McArthur Family

Quite possibly the wettest weather I’ve ever done a shoot in! But….this extended family were absolute troopers! The first half-hour was fine & dry, but as we were about to set off to location 2 (naively thinking we’d got away with it!) the heavens opened, big time!

Plan B was to hide in the woods under umbrellas and bring groups/individuals out to the light while I tested the waterproof capabilities of my jacket!!

Sometimes you’ve just got to roll with the punches when you live in Glasgow, and with this being a very special Golden Wedding Shoot for the grandparents, we cracked on regardless!

Thank you all so much for being so patient, it was a blast!
