Haillie & Ryan met back in school, but didn’t really click until a house party brought them back together – and from there, the rest is history. They’re best friends, share a deep love of food, and when asked to describe their relationship, Haillie said “disorganised” and Ryan said “soulmates” – which pretty much seems to sum them up perfectly.

Their One Devonshire Gardens wedding was such a joy to photograph. They were both so chilled and relaxed about the whole day, and the venue looked absolutely stunning. It was one of those cold spring Glasgow days – dry and bright – which honestly feels like winning the weather lottery around here!

Both Haillie & Ryan got ready at the hotel, which is always such a gift for a photographer. The girls had a slow, relaxed morning, while the boys – and there were a lot of them – spent a good chunk of time wrestling with ties. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many Windsor knots being attempted in one room!

The ceremony, led by the brilliant Douglas Gilgallon, was short, sweet, and full of love. After some relaxed group photos, we snuck off for a few portraits by the iconic stained glass windows they’d been excited about. Later in the day, once they’d had a chance to mingle, we gathered their pals for the fun, candid shots they really wanted – and I’m so glad we waited, because the light was magic.
